EQMS device compatibility overview - Simon Wells, Qualsys Support Manager interview

The majority (81 percent) of UK office workers spend between four and nine hours each day sitting at their desk. So for most of the working day, your team can safely and securely access EQMS via their desktop. 

But what about when your workforce aren't at their desks? Or those who are on the factory floor or offsite? 

We asked Qualsys Support Manager, Simon Wells, which devices EQMS was compatible with and how it works.

If you're cloud hosted, the EQMS modules can be accessed via a url from any device, anywhere with internet access. 

If you want to use the mobile applications, you will want to check the device has been tested and is compatible. Qualsys conducts rigorous testing on the most common modern mobile devices to ensure compatibility, including:

  • iEQMS app:
    • iOS - fully compatible
    • Samsung Galaxy S6, S7 & S8 phones using android version 5.4, 6.0, 7.0 and 8.0.
    • The app has also been tested on Samsung galaxy Tab E and Tab A running Android version 5.5 and 8.0 and 8.1
  • iEQMS Auditor app:
    • iOS - fully compatible 
    • Tested on Samsung galaxy Tab E and Tab A running Android version 5.5 and 8.0 and 8.1
